Art E Studio has been very busy lately. Many of the students are getting ready for the Congressional Art Competition and or entering their work at the Silver Dollar Fair. Some are working on gifts for relatives or paintings for school fund raisers. I have posted their work in the "Student Gallery" for you to view.
As for myself, I have been working on finishing the portrait of Annie and completing my "Chinese Zodiac" series. I only have three more zodiac signs to paint. They are Year of the Tiger, Year of the Ox and I'm redoing Year of the Dragon. Another project I've been working on is creating and sewing brush holders. Many students have commented on my personal brush holder and have inquired on where they could purchase one. This brush holder is not for sale in the retail market. It was specially made by an artist in Tahoe and sold exclusively at my mom's gallery. I have taken the design and recreated it and added a few touches of my own. I now have them for sale at the studio. Here are a few pictures for you to view.
