This painting I'm working on is of one of my young students, Annie. I take pictures of my student's progress as they continue to grow as artists. When I took this picture of Annie, I knew I had to paint it. Everything about her pose spoke to me. Her face is hidden by the big hat she is waring but her personality still shows through.

The second painting is of my families old homestead in Idaho.
