We just celebrated our one month anniversary on Maui and so far so good. One of our new rules for living here is no more working weekends. We managed to fallow that rule this past weekend and took advantage of the beautiful beach just a few blocks away. Monday snuck up on us fast, as Mondays often do and it was back to work. My first job for the week was to finish preparing my miniature paintings for display at "The Village Gallery". It is very exciting to have my work excepted into the oldest gallery in Hawaii. I have been told it is really hard to get into any of the galleries in Lahaina. Good thing I didn't listen to what I was told. My little gems are now in two Village Gallery locations.
Another Maui mile stone was met for us today, we got our Hawaiian drivers licenses. Tomorrow it's the trucks turn. We had to get a safety check done on it before registering. As luck would have it, the inspection station was right behind Charlie's print shop, the truck past with flying colors.
My battery is about out of juice on my iPad so I better sign off. But before I do I want to thank all of you who read my blog for you support. You guys are the best!
