This morning when I woke up and was enjoying my first cup of coffee, I saw a post on facebook from Abbie Shores, the lady who did the interview. She mentioned the interview was featured on Fine Art America's facebook page. What a wonderful surprise to wake up to! Fine Art America is the website that hosts my artist website, daricemachel.com. I've been with them since 2009. There is over 100,000 artists on FAA. Getting featured is no easy task! I couldn't be more thrilled!
Running an art business is not easy. There is lots of promoting and marketing I have to do to get both my art and my art classes seen on the internet. I have a high ranking on google and Trip Adviser which helps greatly. I post pretty much everyday on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. All this takes time. So having a special feature on FAA's facebook page is a huge deal to me. Being interviewed by the Editor of an arts magazine in the UK is super huge!!!!
